Workaround to Send Multiple Survey Reminders with SFDC Integration

We have a survey set up by a Salesforce trigger to send out a survey. We use the Salesforce Outbound Message to trigger the flow into Qualtrics.  This is our current flow, which adds the contact to our directory and then distributes the survey and the one allowed reminder. My goal is to be able to send a second reminder message. Can I update this flow to add the contact to the directory with the appropriate embedded data, and then use the “Send a Survey via Email” task? Could I do this with only the Send a Survey via Email task? Thanks!

New Calendar Question Type - Removing Time Interval?

It appears Qualtrics has included it’s own Calendar Question Type. Yay!However, it looks like it also includes a time-interval formatting feature where people HAVE to pick a time. Currently there is not an option to exclude this.I contacted Support and they said maybe there is someone in the community that can recommend code to get rid of it.Would love some help. Thank you!

How do you send 2 or more reminder emails for an automated (SFDC) survey?

Currently the Salesforce trigger and email survey options only let you automatically send 1 reminder email, so I'm having to go into my distributions each week and manually schedule the second reminder email. Is there a better way to handle? Seems to me a pretty essential feature, though some might say I'm sending too many reminder emails. (But I've proven they get me many more responses; without them for certain surveys I would never get to what my stakeholders consider an acceptable RR percentage.)

How to display text entry box with a text on its left only when the option selected

Hi -I’ve seen similar questions in the community but have yet to find a satisfactory answer. I’m trying to hide both the text (Please specify) and the text entry box for an MC question. Here’s an example below - Who helped you move?A. ParentB. Friend(s)C. SpouseD. SiblingE. Other (Please specify:) [TEXT ENTRY BOX HERE]I'd like the "Please specify:" text and the text entry box to only be displayed when option E is selected. Is this possible in Qualtrics? I have the code to hide the text entry box until that option is selected. And I can hide the “Please specify” text using this in combination with the html tagQualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){    jQuery("#hideable-text").hide();}); What I can’t figure out is how to show the “Please specify” when the option is selected. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I don’t know enough JS to figure it out. This is what I’m using to hide the text box. Let’s say Q1 choices are A, B, C, and D and they are displayed in randomized order. How can I pipe the first choice that appeared in Q1 to the next question?

Need help filling ED fields with Tetris Games scores, results and chat

Hello, I’ve been working with some friends to develop the code for an experiment I'm running as part of my Psych Honours year.The experiment examines the effects of competition level (high vs low) on interpretation of messages in different emotional valences (positive, ambiguous, negative). It then also factors in trait competitiveness, and dark tetrad traits.Participants play a game of tetris which has been coded in JS and CSS and is hosted on Github.The Qualtrics questions then create a frame for this game to take place, with survey flow creating two random groups (High or Low competition), with each participant experiencing three different games of Tetris, where after the match, the CPU opponent sends them a valenced message and they can respond. At the moment I have two major issues, and a couple of little ones..The two major issues are as follows: In the embeddedData fields I’ve created, I can record the message the player sends to the CPU during the chat phase (Embedded as PosCha

Adding JavaScript to center a text entry, javascript placement

I found this other community post with the code:  <style> .ChoiceStructure { text-align: center; } </style> but cannot figure out WHERE I am supposed to place it. When I open the JS I am shown this, I have tried to place it in a combination of places and cannot figure out how to get it to display correctly.

Adjust Layout and Padding on Pick, Group, and Rank Question

I am hoping to adjust a few things about my Pick, Group, and Rank question (screenshot below). I would like to make the following changes: Three columns instead of two Reduce the amount of padding in each group box (i.e. reduce the distance indicated by the red arrow below). The items that I drag into each box are wrapping onto 2 lines when there is still LOTS of space to the right of the text in the box.Ideally, I could implement these changes in the “New Survey Taking Experience” using CSS. I already found some code on another post that helped convert to 3 columns (included below) but it does NOT work when I switch over to the New Survey Taking Experience. Randomly picking from a list of brands but excluding certain combinations

I am creating a monthly survey that has a brand list that that contains a minimum of 1 brand to a max of 10. The brands a respondent will see depends on a whether they shopped there in the past (Q1).  In this example, pretend that the respondent shopped at Brands A, B, C, D and E.I have a loop and merge where I present a max of 3 brands to the respondent. The only exception would be is that the respondent could not see both Brands A and C. We are allowing all other combinations as long as Brands A and C are not together. Is this possible? Keep in mind that the brand list changes every month and that the brands that cannot be together are also changing. Thanks in advance.

Aligning text in drag and drop

Hi! I’m sure this has a simple answer. Thank you in advance for the help! I’m working on a survey and one of the questions has drag and drop options. As you can see, the text isn’t aligned (for example, the second line of the first and fourth options. Is there code I can use to make it align?

How to see digital intercept revision history

We have digital intercepts (popups, feedback buttons, etc...). Today they say “Active...with unpublished changes.” Nobody remembers making any changes. Is there a place to see what changes are unpublished and who made them?

Change next "arrow" button to in-page Submit based on question response.

I have a yes or no question in my survey.  If the recipient answers yes, then they will move forward to other questions, by using an arrow on the page.  Should the recipient select “no”, I would like the arrow to change to a change “Submit”. I would like this to be displayed in the same page and not require a new page to submit.  Has anyone done this before?

Print multiple questions from a survey on a single page.

Hello! I created a survey, and need the questions in a block to print on a single page. Screenshot #1 below is the code I’m working with. Updated JavaScript for New Survey Taking Experience

Hello! I like to mask phone numbers in my surveys. I have successfully used the JS below to do that. In the new Survey Taking Experience, the JS no longer works. The published info on the new format does acknowledge that JS may need to be updated. Survey Workflow, Export response to Excel use workflow task, missing derived fields, NPS group etc.

Embedded data assignment not working in JavaScript

Hi,I have a survey where I input the start and end date of my class(from the contact list). On the first question of the survey, using JavaScript, I calculate the number of days it has been since the class started and the number of days left till graduation using those dates. I assign these values to the embedded data fields “Days Since Cohort Start” and “Days Till Graduation”. Based on these values, the survey shows/doesn’t show certain questions. The embedded data fields are defined in the survey flow before the question with the Javascript.  The assignment of the values to the embedded data fields is not working. The reason I am assuming this is that - I have a console.log function in the javascript and so I am able to see that the script is running and the calculations are happening correctly When I manually set the “Days Till Graduation” the rest of the survey flow & the survey run correctlyAnother confounding factor is that I have the same JavaScript code on another survey an

Export Response API problem

I can’t seem to find the export file after running my API call. When I run this script in PowerShell, nothing seems to happen. The PowerShell screen empties and goes back to the original command prompt line. Help setting embedded data for multiple targets on a creative

I am trying to Set Embedded Data for Multiple Targets on a creative with JavaScript.  I am familiar with setting embedding data into intercepts/surveys by using the simple Embedded Data features on the intercept action sets, to pull in cookie values etc but I have zero understanding of javascript!Below is a screenshot of the relevant part of my creative.  I have created targets over each of these 3 answers, but would like to set a different embedded data value for each, so I can tell which answer they gave when they arrive at the surveyI have found these directions here, but I’m unsure how to apply them to the creative.  Where do I put the javascript?  And then what do I need to do to pull it to my intercept/survey? Thanks in advance for your help!
