Pseudonymization: can you still make cross-project analysis?

If you activate Pseudonymization in EX, does each participant receive the same pseudonym in every survey? In other words, can we still do cross-project analysis, to have insights like “employees who give a negative rating on survey 1, also give in general a bad rating on survey 2” ?  And if you exempt certain surveys from the pseudonymization, then you probably cannot combine data from that survey with pseudonymized surveys?

Slider in EX projects

Has anyone done a slider or something similar to a tachometer in an EX project ( Engagement for example ). I assume the only option would be using Javascript, but I am having some troubles with getting it to work properly. Any input is appreciated!

Restricting Participant Data for Data & Analysis

Does anyone have experience with how to restrict participant data (Name, Email) from the Data & Analysis tab for admins. We do not want them to be able to pull identifying information by employee.

Using participants to extract demographic data

Hello everybody, We are surveying new employees in their onboarding period with several surveys and we have build dashboards to keep track of the results. Every new employees receive a survey after the 1st week, and we also have other metadata fields to help us describe our sample (country, division, etc). We want to use that data for demographics purposes, e.g. to know how many new hires we had in a time period. Is there a way to track in the dashboard the number of people who have been added to this survey’s project? I would want to display how many people in total were added to the project, rather than the participation rate that shows how many people answered the survey. Thank you for the help!

Embedding EX dashboard using iFrame

Has anyone managed to successfully embed an EX dashboard in a third party software / website? I read in the documentation that it is possible to embed widgets in ServiceNow & SalesForce, but I need to embed dashboard results on a client’s website so that’s not an option. I thought iFrame would be an option, but when I tried I saw that X-Frame-Options is set to sameorigin. Any input on this would be helpful

Embedding Dashboard widgets from Employee Engagement dashboards

We would like to display widgets from a few employee engagement dashboards on internal SharePoint webpages on our company Intranet.I see this is possible with the Qualtrics CX Customer Experience product (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/widgets/embedding-dashboard-widgets-in-third-party-software/)Has anyone done this with the EX Employee Experience product? Parent-Child Org hierarchy with Unit ID

Im creating a parent-child hierarchy but want to also add the Department (or Org unit id) to it. How it “should” work is as follows: Manger 1 Dept. 111Report 1 Dept 222Report of Report 1 222Report 2 Dept 333 Essentially the Org unit id can be nested. What ideally would happen is it would use Manager id - Employee id to generate the basic Parent - Child (which it does) but then annex the metadata field for each user departmentid which identifies their overall org (this is where it fails saying “Units with non unique Org unit ids values”.

Response Rate Widget not displaying as expected

Hello! Our Response Rate widget in our dashboard is not displaying as I expected (see screen grab with 24 “responded”). I’d like to see a department breakout like our past survey (see 93 “responded”), but when I try to filter by department, it gives me an error message. Does anyone know what might be happening? Thanks!

Employee engagement dashboard heatmap label strikes

In employee engagement dashboard on using heatmaps, long labels are not appearing completely in column and name appears with like Department 1…. So it is not user friendly to take screenshot. How you handle this.

Action Items Details

As part of our Annual Engagement Survey we are struggling to download the full of action plans from managers including not only the items but also the details and comments from each action item.Is there any way to do this?If not, is Qualtrics planning on adding this feature soon?Thank youHernan Geldstein

Month Over Month

Hi - I would like to be able to show responses to an item month by month to see how responses are varying. I have not found a way to be able to do this in the EX dashboard widgets. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I have seen a few articles specific to response/participation rate, but I am looking at a widget that would display response comparisons for specific survey items.

Solution for a ranking question in EX projects

The EX product doesn’t include many solutions for a ranking question in the survey builder. Has anyone managed to use alternative question formats to achieve a ranking question? I tried Form Field but I’m unsure how to set the custom validation so that each field has a unique value between 1-6.

How do I show one metadata field in a heat map widget?

Hello! I am trying to create separate heatmaps for our department leaders. I only want them to see their own department’s heatmap column compared to Company Overall. I do NOT want them to see all of our departments’ heatmap columns. How do I set this up? I tried adding a filter, but it changed the data output. Thanks!

Tracking File Downloads in Audit logs

Qualtrics Logging and Proxy Access Analysis of Qualtrics logs is adequate for auditing purposes. However, a manual correlation of timestamps is currently necessary to distinguish between activities performed by legitimate users and those conducted via proxy logins. This is a consequence of the system recording audit trails for standard user activity and proxy usage in distinct log files. Consolidation of this information into a unified log event file would significantly improve efficiency and facilitate more comprehensive analysis. We have created a Qualtrics ticket for the same and got a came to know that  this functionality is currently not available in the Qualtrics platform.

Performance Review/Action Plans

I’m completely new to Qualtrics and to my current job, so I’m trying to catch up very quickly. I’m wondering if there is a way to use Qualtrics to set up employee performance reviews that allow for revisiting for progress monitoring.  The ideal set up would include: Employee/supervisor ability to both add to an initial review (ie goals, indicators, etc.) Ability to revisit that goal periodically (1x/quarter) for progress, adding of any evidence of progress, etc. Ideally the employee can do that independently prior to a meeting with the supervisor, but they could add notes together or the supervisor could also add feedback that would be visible to the employee. Privacy - A supervisor has access to his/her direct reports, but they can’t see each other's information.Again, because I’m new I’m trying to watch the support videos, but I don’t want to be chasing a solution that isn’t there. Would appreciate any ideas/suggestions/feedback.

Hello, Our requirement is to capture manager feedback on a new hire early on in their employment and have that information be automatically sent to HR if negative.So, if we break it down in two parts:Able to automatically send a survey to a new hire's manager X days after their first day to provide feedback on themAble to notify a specific HR service if the feedback is negativeFor context, there would also be an integration with SuccessFactors.Has anyone been able to achieve this, completely or partly? Whats the easiest way to export dashboards results in a master excel for an Engagemnt survey, as we dont have access to Data and Analysis tab (due to anonimity issues)

We are running Engagement Survyes in our company, but we dont have access to the data and analysis tab. This is due to the anonimity . What we miss is a download of the dashboards results for all units that can be done in one go. We cover 12 countries and more business units, so we were wondering if we could have a download in csv or excel of the dashboards results for the whole population of the survey on one go. Now we try to maintain such a file by filtering countries one by one, and business units one by one, but its very time consuming and difficult task. Restricting Hierarchy and Participant List for Admins in Engagement Projects

Hello Community,I am looking for a solution to restrict the hierarchy and participant list for admins within an engagement project.Background: We want to conduct a survey within the corporation, surveying different entities simultaneously within this project.Local HR personnel should have EX admin access to the project, but they should only be able to view and manage their own entity's employees in the participant tab, and similarly, they should only be able to view and manage their branch of the entire hierarchy.I am clear about the reporting in the dashboards through the roles tab; this inquiry pertains exclusively to participant management for admins within a project. Thank you.

Check participant's metadata based conditions before going live

Hi everyone,I’m relatively new to the EX platform. I’ve programmed questions in the survey based on participants' metadata (e.g., Country). For instance, some questions are shown to participants from certain countries, while others are not. The default preview survey link doesn’t provide an option to verify this behavior based on metadata. How can I check if my display logic is working correctly before the survey goes live?

How to Manage Survey Sessions for Shared Devices in EX Survey with SSO Authentication?

I’ve created an Employee Experience (EX) survey for one of the companies I work with. The survey provides participants with the option to access it via an anonymous link and authenticate themselves using SSO or their unique identifier.However, we’re encountering a challenge:Many of the staff members will be using shared devices (e.g., tablets or computers) to take the survey. If someone starts the survey, leaves it incomplete, and closes the tab, the device remains authenticated to their session. This creates a problem, as the next person using the same device would inadvertently access the previous person’s session.What we want is a way for users to log out of the survey session so the next participant can authenticate and start their own session securely.Has anyone tackled a similar situation? Is there a way to automatically log out users after a certain action or implement a manual logout option for the survey? Any best practices or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in
