World Art Day, a celebration to promote the development, diffusion and enjoyment of art is celebrated every year on April 15. Learn more: https://www.unesco.org/en/days/world-art

Task:

  • How do you expressive yourself artistically? Perhaps you paint, play a musical instrument, or create pottery. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it!

  • Alternatively, how do you enjoy art? Is there an art exhibit that you’re still thinking about or a music festival that you attend every year?

During the first week of each month, we will post a new question, topic, or activity for you to connect with the community and earn a badge. All community members who join our team and contribute a thoughtful comment to this month’s discussion, between April 1 and April 30, will receive this badge worth 50 points by the end of the month.

Over the past year, I’ve developed a passion for making artisanal bread — it’s a creative process I really enjoy.

I also love trying new hobbies regularly, like crocheting, coloring, and anything else that lets me express myself in a hands-on, creative way.

@Sophieroy Those are beautiful!

@Sophieroy Those are beautiful!

Thank you so much! I put a lot of effort and love into it, and I’m really happy with the results I’ve been getting lately. It feels great to see my efforts paying off! 🤗🥖

I travel, I take photographs, and I write! (I’ve had a blog since so long ago that “I have a personal blog” wasn’t an antiquated idea, like hey the 90s want their platforms back)

@CarolK Substack has brought back the art of blogging, and I am here for it! 🤓

@Sophieroy Impressive! I very much admire anyone with baking skills!

Thank you @Michael_Cooksey! I’ll bake one for you if you ever come visit us in Québec! 😊

I would absolutely LOVE that! Montréal is one of my favorite cities. I want to come back and see more of the province and explore other cities ⚜️

@Sophieroy I’ve heard that Montreal bagels are even better than New York ones and need to find out whether it’s true!

I started dancing at the age of 5, studying tap, jazz, and ballet. I halted my dance practice at the beginning of college but always had this yearning to start back up even though life kept getting in the way. This year, I finally decided that I would make time for something that I found absolute joy in doing. Through this hobby I’ve made many friends and look forward to my weekly “me time”.

This is our in-office poster-making contest! 🎨 So interesting to see how each team member expresses their creativity and unique perspective through art.

I’m so glad to hear that! 😊 There’s so much to explore beyond Montréal — from charming small towns to amazing food spots and beautiful nature.

Let us know if you ever plan a trip back, we'd love to welcome you and show you around a bit!

@AdamK12 Oh you definitely need to try them for yourself — but fair warning, once you’ve had a real Montréal bagel, there’s no going back 😉

This is great! It’s so important to have something creative to do that gets us outside of work mode!

This is an excellent idea and a great way to get team members thinking creatively! 🎨

I love to draw nature drawings with beautiful colours.

I express myself artistically through writing—especially academic writing—which allows me to explore ideas deeply and creatively. I also enjoy cooking new dishes of my own wherein I experiment with the ingridients, if that can be considered as an art.
